About Gope Chander
Gope Chander, born on December 31, 1932, in Tharushah, Sindh, is the elder son of the renowned singer Master Chander. For many years, Gope Chander has been settled in the USA, where he continues to keep Sindhi folk and modern music alive. He is known for presenting his father’s legendary musical renderings with great passion and distinction.

Additional Information
Gope Chander's most significant contribution is spreading Sindhi music and culture across the world. Along with his brother Mahesh Chander, a renowned singer in his own right, Gope founded the Master Chander Sangeet Academy. The academy’s mission is to promote and preserve Sindhi culture and music.
In New York, Gope has been teaching Sindhi music to children and encourages talented Sindhi artists from India to perform in the USA. His children have also made a name for themselves by promoting Sindhi culture in the United States.
